WINTER 2018: PUNCH CARDS NOW AVAILABLE!
Polka will now be offering a punchcard system and open studio times!
When: Thursdays: 6-9 pm Sundays: 9 am-noon
*Punchcard holders should email polka at polkapressmadison@gmail.com at least 24 hours ahead of planned studio usage.
Details: $60 for each punch card, 1 punch = 30 minutes, 6 punches per card
Cards expire six months from purchase date.
Studio monitors are available to assist but not teach new techniques.
Punchcards will be offered for purchase to former members and participants in joint Polka/ALL classes.
If you have taken silkscreen classes before but are new to Polka!, there will be a $50 studio orientation fee in addition to the $30 punchcard fee. If you are interested in learning how to silkscreen, contact us to inquire about lessons.
Current members DO NOT need to purchase punchcards and will maintain their 24/7 access.

Students will learn how to use natural dyes and screen printing techniques to create their own handmade projects. Students will leave the course with a basic understanding of the principles of natural dyeing and fundamental screen printing knowledge. Each participant will leave with a stack of decorative handmade paper that they hand printed.

Join us for a TGIF Screen Printing workshop and learn the fundamentals of screen printing for stationery! Each participant will walk away with their own hand printed cards and envelopes. We will experiment with layering, ink mixing, and collage to create pocket sized prints. This class is great for beginners looking to learn more about this simple yet versatile printmaking technique.
The class fee covers all screens, inks, and stationery products used in the class.
